Tips for a Healthy New Year

Sleep:  Many studies have shown that inadequate sleep leads to poor health. 7 to 9 hours of sleep is recommended for the average adult
Move:  Exercise of virtually any type improves well-being. Choose something that you enjoy doing (walking, running, biking, swimming, hiking, etc.) then keep at it for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week
Fuel:  Treat your body like a high-performance vehicle. Drink plenty of water, eat lean protein (beans, chicken etc.), whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables.  Limit processed foods, sugar, saturated fats, and alcohol
Don't SmokeIf you are a smoker (vaping included), STOP. If you are not a smoker, DON'T start. The adverse effects of smoking are too numerous to mention here. There are multiple methods to quit. Find one that works for you
